Failing Forward: A Father's Day Message

On this Father's Day, I was thinking about my life as a father, how incredibly blessed I am, but also know I've made a lot of mistakes through the years. Through it all I'm glad I've been able to fail forward and be a better Dad today than I was yesterday.

Maybe you've struggled at times like me to be the best dad for my kiddos. Maybe you're struggling now to know the next step to take. I've found that during my best seasons as a Dad, I kept my eyes focus on God, my heavenly Father, who is the picture of the Perfect Father...loving, gentle, kind, patient, but also caring enough to discipline when I needed redirection. Look...see...learn...become.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads. You are more important than you can ever imagine and are leaving a legacy through your kiddos every day!

Take Another Step,

Dr. Jason

'Children are a gift from the Lord ; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands. How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.' Psalms 127:3-5
