To Love Fierce Is to Love Tender
Can I tell you something that took me way too long to figure out? I used to think tenderness and strength were opposites. Like you had to choose. Like if you were going to lead well, build something real, show up with any kind of authority in the room, you had to keep a certain distance. Stay composed. Keep the soft stuff tucked away somewhere people couldn't see it. I was so incredibly wrong. And honestly? That version of leadership cost me more than I want to admit.

Loving Hopeful is Loving Forward
To love hopeful is to love forward. It's vision, not just memory. It says I see who you're becoming and I believe in that person. Not the polished, finished version. The person being shaped right now, in the middle of the mess and the uncertainty and the slow, hard work of growth. That is one of the most powerful things a leader can offer someone.
